Privacy policy
Last updated:
This policy explains what Pragmaxy Dock and the pragmaxy.com website do with information about you. The short version: Pragmaxy Dock collects nothing and sends nothing over the network.
Who we are
Pragmaxy Dock and pragmaxy.com are made by Pragmaxy SAS, a company in Colombia. You can reach us at support@pragmaxy.com.
Pragmaxy Dock
- Pragmaxy Dock collects no personal data. It contains no analytics, telemetry or advertising, and no code that sends anything over the network.
- Its settings, the items in your dock and its log files stay on your computer, in
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Pragmaxy Dock. The log files record technical events, not the names of your apps, files or folders. - Uninstalling the Microsoft Store version removes this data together with the app.
- “Export my dock” writes a file only where you choose, and it stays under your control.
- Links in the app (website, privacy policy, support email) open in your own browser or email app, only when you click them.
Problem reports
“Send a problem report” (Settings → General) saves a text file where you choose and shows it in File Explorer, so you can open and read it before sending it. It also opens an email draft to us; nothing leaves your computer unless you decide to send that email with the file attached. By default the file contains:
- the date and time it was created;
- the Pragmaxy Dock version and build;
- the Windows version, build and language;
- your monitors as a count, with resolution, scale and which one is the main one — no model or serial number;
- the dock settings, with monitors named “monitor 1”, “monitor 2” and so on;
- how many items of each kind the dock holds — no names and no paths;
- the last 300 lines of the app’s log.
The names of the apps in your dock are included only if you choose that option when you create the report.
Microsoft Store
When Pragmaxy Dock is available in the Microsoft Store, purchases, licences and downloads are handled by Microsoft under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. If your Windows diagnostic settings allow it, Windows may send crash reports about the app to Microsoft, and Microsoft makes them available to us in its Partner Center so that we can fix problems. We do not receive your payment details.
Support email
When you write to support@pragmaxy.com we receive your email address, your message and any attachments, such as a problem report. We use them only to answer you and to fix problems. Our email is hosted by Zoho Mail. We keep messages while we need them to answer you and for up to two years after our last exchange, and then delete them.
Under Colombian law (Ley 1581 de 2012, on the protection of personal data) you can ask to know, update, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and withdraw your consent, by writing to support@pragmaxy.com. You can also file a complaint with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC).
